Few microbreweries can boast the ethical pedigree that Bucks Star Beer brings to its delicious, ethical range of flavoursome real ales.
Since its launch in 2013, brothers Datis and Daria Gol have used traditional artisan brewing methods. They also use the best organic ingredients to produce their beer. The process ensures the minerals, vitamins and probiotic qualities are maintained. In addition, the beer is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
A key ingredient contributing to the success is their aim to minimise the impact on the environment. They don’t use chemicals and have almost zero waste. It’s, also, possibly the first solar-powered microbrewery.
Through their Growler Swap Scheme you can purchase a 1 or 2 litre Growler vessel filled with beer. Once consumed, swap it for a new one with a different flavour. If you keep the beer cool with the cap on, it will stay fresh for about three months meaning you won’t have to drink it all at once.
Book onto one of their beer tasting events to learn about the ups and downs of their journey, the innovative developments as well as enjoying a variety of beers from the range. For local, ethical production with minimal waste there are few beers that could challenge Bucks Star.
Last year, Bucks Star Brewery launched a project to create an authentic tap room for their customers. They are offer opportunties to join their crowd-funding project at crowdfunder.co.uk/BreweryTapHouse
