Welcome to Essentially Local’s March-April Edition
The latest edition of Essentially Local is out now! The last couple of months have flown by as we’ve been so busy planning, organising and occasionally getting distracted! We are really excited about what is in store for all our local readers and advertisers. Watch this space and grab your copy of Essentially Local March-April 2020!
Motivating March, Taking Action April
Starting with your New Year’s Resolution – confession time? We hope you haven’t lost your motivation. The Happy Bodies personal trainer winner hasn’t – read more about her on page 30. If plans haven’t started or something got in the way, believing that you can get back on track is half the battle. Look out for our article on one amazing woman’s journey with Happy Bodies Fitness Centre.
We are excited to be, once again, running the Artists in Bloom Competition. Find out more about it on page 6. It’s open to anyone of any age and you can draw, paint, make a model, take a photo. The choice is yours! We have lined up some amazing local judges who can’t wait to see your ideas come to reality.
Whitehouse Primary School
Mother’s Day is on Sunday, 22 March this year. If you need some ideas for how to treat your mum, take a look at our local supplier ideas in the magazine or online. We have flowers, relaxation, massage, special food we’ve got every option. Whitehouse Primary School Writers in Residence also have some fantastic suggestions that we’ll be sharing soon. Young or old, make sure you show your mum how much she means to you.
Home and Garden
The housing market appears to have started to swing into action. Whether you are thinking of moving or want to improve your home space we can recommend some excellent local tradespeople. They’ll offer ideas and advice as well as good service.
This January, I was lucky enough to attend the first stage performance by some very talented young dancers from Milton Keynes Dance Theatre.
If you are a young dancer find out how you can audition for their next production. Peter Pan takes place in October. It could be a very exciting time for 40 local young dancers!
Dance, not your thing? There are lots of other local activities going on – history, nature, art, food – you name it we’re featuring at least one of each!
Make sure you support this amazing local area by keeping your business and leisure essentially local. If you’d like your own copy of Essentially Local March-April 2020, call or email us 01908 380777.
