Join us to celebrate more of our fantastic local businesses. These businesses lay at the heart of everything we do. During lock-down more people turned to them because they knew they get the right products with the best possible level of service. Let’s make sure we continue to support them.
Lahn’s Nail It
Ray and Lahn opened their nail salon 8 years ago and finally it’s back to normal opening hours. There are extra measures to keep you safe – make an appointment, wear a facemask (or buy one at the salon) and leave the pets and children at home! Staff will check your temperature on arrival and log your details for track and trace. They wear masks, visors and aprons, have temperature checks and they’ll work on your hands behind an acrylic screen. Sit back and enjoy.

A Peaceful and Ecological Burial
Cosgrove Green Burial Meadow offers a calm, natural alternative to graveyard and cemetery burials. The peaceful resting place is set in a traditional meadow that attracts wildlife and flowers. It’s open to all faith denominations and beliefs, providing options for ash internments, burials and plot reservations. Green burials are a truly ecological choice that only use natural materials. Fruit trees can be planted along the memorial stream walk with wooden tree plaques to commemorate a loved one.
To Find out More:
Equally good to see is that Soul2Sole has moved into a bigger, brighter shop just a few metres away from their old one. Happily, this gives them opportunity to stock and display even more of their fantastic products. There is ample parking and easy access on the ground floor. Pointe and demi pointe shoe fittings are now available with other shoes to follow. Although you may go in for one item, be prepared because we definitely left more than planned! We love the new shop!
Pop along to wish Vanessa the best of luck in her new premises.

New Team Member for Cranley Barn
The coronavirus outbreak began just as Mark had completed his degree in agriculture. As a result, he decided to offer to help out at Cranley Barn farm and proved himself to be such a great help that he was invited to join the team full time.
His keen interest in regenerative agriculture will reinforce the work on the farm, particularly in maximising livestock in the rotation. Expect to see more new arrivals in the coming months. And, give him a wave if you see him in the yard.
Don’t forget to pop along to buy the best in local produce – meats, egg, vegetables, breads and sweet foods.
